Upon popular request, Smiths Spanish stand set to commence
Spanish After School Clubs at various schools in the London and Cambridge areas. The
after school clubs will be made up of games in
Spanish, with the focus being on
Spoken Spanish and a little
written Spanish. For older age groups there will be a little more gramatical instruction, but games will still be utilized in order to make the lessons more interactive and engaging. This method of integrating games into language instruction has been found to produce much fatser results, especially when working with children, as it encourages students to actually start thinking in the language. Our Spanish immersion courses are different from any other holiday style Spanish course in that you don't have to compromise on the holiday part, and what is more, friends, family and spouses can come along even if they aren't taking part in the Spanish course. They can explore, relax or rest for the three hours every morning whilst you take your Spanish classes. They will also be able to accompany you on the many tours and activities made available to you throughout the trip. If they are sharing a room with you, then they will incur minimal expenses. This October (2009) we will be making a trip to Southern Chile, to the breath-takingly beautiful lakes region. Southern Chile boasts an Alpine climate with glaciers fjords and lakes and if you venture right south you will discover the Penguins National Nature Reserve. Southern Chile is rich in forests and grazing lands and features a string of volcanoes and lakes. The southern coast is a labyrinth of fjords, inlets, canals, twisting peninsulas, and islands.
